Pattern Testing EYMM Girls Timeless Pencil Skirt

I have a handful of different skirt patterns for my girls. I’ve made them circle skirts, ruffled skirts, skorts, pleated skirts, skater skirts, you name it. The one type of skirt pattern I didn’t have was a pencil skirt. So when Kymy from Everything Your Moma Made (EYMM) put out the tester call for a girl’s pencil skirt, I applied immediately! I was lucky enough to be a part of the testing process for the Timeless Pencil Skirt* pattern.

Pencil skirts are really such a classic look. I love the shape of them and my goodness, they are EASY to sew! I printed and taped the pattern pieces, cut the fabric, and sewed TWO skirts in probably 45 minutes. It’s a simple sew especially with Kymy’s easy to follow instructions.

The Timeless Pencil Skirt includes several options. You can do natural or empire waist, above or below the knee hemline, a contoured or yoga waistband, classic fit or fitted fit through the legs, and finally an optional kick pleat. It runs from sizes 2T to 18 tween. I made my girls size 4T, natural waist, above the knee, contoured waistband, classic fit skirts. The skirts fit them perfectly and I am so happy with the pattern. And can I just say, Oh my goodness! Who are these grown up looking girls with pencil skirts and high heels?!?!?! These can not be my babies! Grab you copy of the pattern today. It is on sale for TODAY only, so don’t miss it!
